OTV visits a Pintxo Bar...

Txori (chŏ-e) is a wonderful little pintxo (pin-chŏ) bar located in Belltown, Seattle. Its name means bird, and pintxo is a Basque word meaning “thorn”, thus a small bite or snack (think small tapas). The focus is on San Sebastian style foods prepared with care and authenticity.

Very knowledgeable wait staff. All Spanish wine list, which is quite extensive for the restaurant’s small size, plus a full bar and a great little outdoor patio. Try the empanadillas de patatacalamares en so tinta (stuffed squid - ink - fried bread) or pintxo moruno (braised pork - roasted green peppers). Open late night! - jas
